A dead end...

After doing all those leveling up (and with my new department in the call center industry), I have run out of goals and motivation to continue on. All because I couldn't finish certain quests on my own two feet.

First things first. The Katovic Snowfield is ridiculously hard to traverse solo. Why? Those boxing beasts have really high HP and they keep uppercutting when they get the chance. Plus, the area where I am supposed to activate the next quest has monsters roaming around. Absolutely no chance to surviving on my own.

Plus, I got frustrated on my own stupidity about the dungeons in the Capybara/Toubkal Mines. Sure, who would expect me to go on raids? I volunteered and I literally screwed myself. That prompted me to question myself whether I am a team player or not. At this point, I AM NOT TEAM PLAYER AND/OR PVP MATERIAL.

To get this depression away from me, I had to leave the faction I had trusted for so long. It's not that I hate everyone, it's because you can't get enough help these days. Well, looks like my past was easy to achieve with some help but these times are TOO DIFFERENT. This is where I face a dead end in my existence of Granado Espada.

Treat this as a rant, treat this as a whine, treat it WHATEVER YOU LIKE.

Oh by the way, looks like updates are coming in too soon. I still HAVE A LOOOOOOONG WAY TO GO.

A shocking (and disappointing) discovery!

Iwas soooooo hyped up for the Domination III ever since my new schedule came out! Taking a brief look, I was thrilled to see that I wasn't having work on April 4th! However, when I took a closer look at my schedule, this is what I ended up seeing:

*currently hyperventilating, needs time to cool down*

OMG...
I am so sad that I will be missing half of the day's events all because of a miscalculation in my part and I was looking forward to seeing my GE friends, attempt to grab freebies and maybe win the Singapore Trip with one raffle entry. *sigh* I wanted to blog this down because this "discovery" just hit me in the face when I reviewed my new schedule. What's worse, this schedule plotting makes a day off land on maintenance day. Pffft. Total EPIC FAIL!

Although this seems like a setback, I WILL ATTEND THE EVENT... NO MATTER THE COST!

Because I got myself a Nintendo Wii, I am more distracted in advancing to level 2 Veteran for my main team and still deciding to get one of the following characters to hit Veteran:

• Calyce (who I am leveling to 72 now, for the Sagitta stance)
• Reboldoeux Soldier (for the special centurion costume)
• Andre (to get myself a special armor crafter)
• Karjalanien (to get myself a jewel crafter)

That's my reason for my lessened attendance in GE but here's what I'm actually posting about!

Is that a rabbit on your head, mister?

Yes! My Andre indeed has a rabbit on his head! You know what? M'Boma and Alejandro can wear it too! How did I get it? Well, there's seems to be an in-game event that will last until the 25th of February and it's easy to get one!

It all started when I was running Auch to restock on some Toolbox Kits since I suddenly ran out of it when I tried to summon a doll using Catherine. On the way back to Leonardo Expresso, I noticed a little wooden sign beside the Leonardo Expresso representative and I gave a click, much to my curiosity. After reading the text, it seems that a "White Event" is going on and I have to give Andre 20 pieces of Sweet Candy. I was curious where to get this "Sweet Candy" item, so I broaded out to get my answer. Bandeau repsonded that it's the candy I get from Adelina's Booty Search. I asked if there was an alternative other than. Bandeau also told you can get Sweet Candies from Claire after you finish the rumin creating quest (I think?). Realizing I had a good amount of the candy, I decided to bring to Andre and lo, it worked! I was able to claim myself a rabbit hat!

Remember you can get Sweet Candies from ABS or doing the rumin quests from Claire. Hurry up! You've got only until the 25th of February to get it! :D

I'm baaaaack!!!

Since the power supply was the problem, it was simply replaced and I'm back online!

Right now, I'm playing as Clint (Jack the Engineer), Lauryn (Grace Bernelli) and Benedito (Soho) at the Tetra Ruins. Man, it is really challenging to use the Construction stance because the cannons stay in their positions and I have to wait until they disappear or be destroyed before I can make another one in the allowable limit. I tried making one in the midst of a heated battle and before I could get the tide to turn on my side, my Jack died with Lauryn getting all the glory (plus Benedito dying as well!). I have to say Jack's weak with his spear but I hope it gets powerful enough when he reaches level 24. It's either me or Soho's really weak in healing. Grace was really overpowering the two men but it's a good chance for me to level up her stances. Hmmmm... Rifles, Pistols or Shotguns? I better decide soon.

I tried to do the Halloween Event but I got 15 so far. None of my faction mates wanted to escort me in the hard places. Well, at least the 5 Diamond Coupon rewards. I wish I could get them Pumpkin Hats...

On a side note, I would like to thank RedSign for keeping me in their faction. Even with my month long absence, I am still part of the RedSign Faction! Thanks guys! This means a lot to me!

1st Granado Espada Bloggers Meeting

Hey there! I'm just making an entry since I attended the first Granado Espada Bloggers Meeting (in the Philippines that is) that was organized by NineMoons. Of course, other bloggers (from Casa Reclusion, DeSanggria, Welling and Fiksdotter) and came by at the said event and it was a blast.

We covered important topics such as issues going around each server. Only servers Carracci, Caravaggio and Cervantes were covered and it seem seach servers has its own expeiences and issues. NineMoons discussed on how to improve our blogs in many ways. What I ealrned from that part was linking websites in the post itself. Notice that the bloggers' names have link in 'em. It helps linking each other and to pages where we'd like to share the info.

To give an example of the link thingy, here's what you should do:

I still want to play GE but my PC is still unstable. I better have it checked ASAP! :(

Just a small update but at least I've got a webhost to host my flash comics and organize them with some graphics and such.

In case anyone's wondering where the Emilia tale went, I'm planning to remaster it with NineMoons' help soon.

With the problem still present in my PC, it seems my hard drive is slowly failing. When it experiences severe pressure (loading graphics in video games, copying huge files, etc.), that's when I hear a click sound and the PC freezes and I gotta keep it closed for at least 30 minutes. Doesn't hang though when I use programs that aren't really stressing the HDD. If I play and it hangs in crowded places, my progress will be severely hindered. I really need a stable income for me to replace the hard drive (and pay some debts I made).

Why I didn't attend the party...

Well, I wanted to attend the party but it seems there are two factors that affected my absence:

I need a job

I need to find a (day) job that will help me finance myself (rather on depending on my parents) for all my needs and wants. From getting new stuff to funding my extra curricular activities (online gaming and such). Really now, I really need a good paying job so I can stand on my own two feet. My stint isn't enough to keep my wallet full, you know!

Since that's the major reason, here is the minor one:

I need to visit my mother at Baguio

Since I had no stint last weekend (plus with that major factor/reason), I took the opportunity to visit my mom who's at Baguio managing the canteen of the Philippine Military Academy. It's been a while since I've seen her and been to Baguio. Of course, I really made my visit worth it by helping around to operate the canteen. I also went to Baguio to get my mind off the dilemma I'm in right now.

Okay, this may mean that I won't be able to play Granado Espada for long periods of time. I cannot quit this, for I have committed to this game already (plus, I paid for my barracks expansion already!). I just need to find a way to get financed adequately (good paying job) for me to continue "enjoying life." I am still unemployed but I doing everything I can to get a job. Call center? Will only apply as a last resort. Wanna help me? Let me know...
