Beating Ravyn's Heart is... very frustrating!

I never expected how weak I was many aspects. Why the negative tone? Ran out of time when trying to destroy Ravyn's Heart.

After being able to craft Refined Keys for the Skullic Dungeon, I warped right in front of the floating crystal skull that gives me access to the map. Unlike the original key, this one gives me my very own instance of fighting Ravyn's Heart.

It may be simple as bashing the giant red skull but progress gets delayed when skullic mobs spawn within the area, not to mention a Montoro you cannot target. I hate his attack when it knocks you down. Worse, it's a big AOE that interferes anyone trying to break Ravyn's Heart.

The worst is about to come as you progress in cracking the giant red skull, one of four giant skeletons comes to life and beats the hell out of you! There was a strategy of luring them out of Ravyn's Heart which worked but escaping was already hard with invincible Montoro trying to get a piece of you. These giant skeletons are not knock-able, making skill interference impossible to achieve.

With only 15 minutes in total, it wasn't enough for me to finish the whole ordeal. I have planned to get more keys as soon as I work up the Vis for the keys. I got another batch of Moon Stones and I do hope Marcelino makes more than he breaks!

Help me in this one, guys! Discuss about it here at the IAH Games forums: http://forum.iahgames.com/ge/showthread.php?t=66623

Vicente Rio: Musician. Enhancer. Heir.

SPOILER WARNING. READ AT YOUR OWN RISK.

I remembered the hint of starting the quest in order to get the Veteran Stance of Vicente Rio: Serenade. First, speak to the girl at the Orchard Street Market at H9 of Auch. Rio seems to have fallen in love with the girl, so he tries to win her heart.

Looks like Rio had the idea of purchasing an Avocado Sandwich and letting the girl share it with him. He was successful and right after that, he played an incomplete Serenade for her. He promised that he'll finish it and let his crush be the first to hear it. However, the girl kept refusing his advances because she claims her father doesn't want her to be around boys.

After those attempts, an old man named Federigo was looking for Rio. Talking to him reveals a revelation on who our Minstrel is: the son of the founder of the Leonardo Expresso service! It seems that one of the five pieces of Ferruccio's Legacy has been tracked in the New World. Otite is believed as one of the five pieces iof Ferruccio's Legacy (that's Federigo's assumption). Also, Otite Research gave birth to the Leonardo Expresso service and the Warp Portal technology. Progess had its price, as some people involved in this situation suffered side effects of being exposed to Otite.

Vicente Rio has a little brother by the name of Samuel, who succumbed to illness because of the Ottie research. One day, a handsome, young man named Montoro Viscount paid a visit. Montoro promised that he would heal Samuel but he just delayed the process. As a turn for the worse, Sir Lyndon had Leonardo arrested and Leonardo's research facility was destroyed with all the documents burned. Too bad he passed away after some time.

However, we still got the chance to take a look in this research facility. Federigo gave us a number combination that would open the facility. Rio headed over to the location where the facility was located. After using the correct code provided by Fedrigo, he was welcomed by hired Pegadilla Mercenaries. It was a gruelling fight but Rio was sided with Marvin and Sarbina. Once the lesser cronies of the group was defeated, Rio interrogated the mercenary group leader. It seems that the leader will not reveal any information as a policy of the Pegadilla Mercenary and regrets that he'll not be paid for this skirmish.

Heading back to Federigo proves the story and Rio now has a goal in the New World: to avenge his father for all the misfortunes that laid on him. The Leonardo Expresso will support in anyway possible. Federigo gave Rio the Serenade Stance Book. When Rio approached his crush, she amazed that he knows the Serenade Stance. However, Rio was not going to divulge the Serenade just to anyone. If anyone else wants to learn this ability, that person would have to approach Rio to learn it!

Before I had to go all of this, I decided to celebrate at Bahia at the Battle Arena and guess what came out:

Level 121 Giant Spider. Like a stood a chance...

It wasn't a win, alright. I got owned by this huge monster. Well, I hope the Battle Arena would be more merciful around next time... :D

Ferruccio's Legacy... Does it exist?

I logged in around 6PM last Tuesday, March 18, 2008. I already bought my powerleveling kit (which consists of Expert Combat Manual, Expert Tactics Manual, one pair of Lucifer Wings and two pairs of Devil Wings) before that day. However, I didn't want to use it now and I decided to level around at Zona Tres of Ustiur. However, sleep was catching on me so I decided to AFK until I woke up the next morning. Since I got used to my shift schedule, I woke up around 2AM and saw my family dead after a few seconds of sitting in front of the PC.

The Colbourn Family was online and I asked if he could accompany or tank for me. He was in the middle of his quest to get Bone Sarira and he let me join him. I arrived at the Skullic Dungeon 1st Floor and met him there. We had a few hits here and there but I able to finish my Bone Sarira quest. However, there was a part 2 of that quest! After (painstakingly) collecting 50 Bone Sariras for the Crystal Skull of the 1st floor, he told me that I'll be on another quest finding another Crystal Skull on the 2nd Floor and triggering a requirement of 150 Bone Sariras! Woah! I thought it ended already!

Anyway, Colbourn Family was kind enough to accompany me through this quest. We had to part when he was able to finish his quest earlier. He did come back to help me finish it. By the time I finished the 150 Bone Sarira part of the quest, I got to see none other than Montoro Viscount himself! I was accompanied by Romina who tried to bring him down but she got beaten up badly. As Montoro was about to finish her off, Grandice came to the rescue! With my assistance, Romina and Grandice were able to drive Montoro away. Looks like this won't be the last time I'll meet Montoro...

Heading back to the Ustiur Camp, Grandice tells me about "Ferruccio's Legacy." According from the info I got, this Ferruccio's Legacy is an artifact left by Ferruccio Espada himself somewhere in the New World. Some say it has powers that anyone else can't possess but with all that stuff here and there, it's hard for me to elaborate what the "Ferruccio's Legacy" really is... However, two other characters did tell me that they were also looking "Ferruccio's Legacy." Only time will tell when the secrets are revealed to us (that includes me and other players, okay?).
